Dear Dr. Ski
Firstly I would like to express my deepest sympathy and admiration, there must be very few 'Ski Icons' who would waste their valuable time and resources answering the seeming endless stream idiotic and irrelevant questions sent to your intelligent and informative website. I consider myself to be an enthusiastic skier and I have a serious question;
There are a vast range of skis to choose from, the short little stiff ones, the twin tips, the cross ski and the double rocker to mention only a few.....I enclose a short video clip of yours truly in action (sent under separate cover) how do I go about finding the perfect ski for me?
Bursting with anticipation

Dear Polly
Finding the right equipment can be extraordinarily difficult, certainly for someone like yourself, your video is undeniable proof of what can be achieved if you have boundless energy, loads of enthusiasm and little regard for your own safety or that of any other unsuspecting skier. I am thinking with or without the right equipment you could be downright dangerous.
My technical support team visually paled as they watched you bouncing round the boot room, what was that, some sort of exaggerated warm up routine?
Then the bit when you are seen tumbling down the narrow gully? You don't seem to have any skis on at all at that stage and whilst none of us boast any expertise as lip readers, you seem to be shouting obscenities at the bewildered ski guide as you hurtle by, can that be correct?
Ski selection is normally dependent on factors such as whether you want to ski predominantly on or off piste, whether you want to use the Fun Park or race through the gates but in your case I guess you are looking for something long and wide with a decent cutting edge.
