Dear Dr Ski
I and my good lady have recently tied the knot in the Alpine Ski Resort of St. Anton am Arlberg, we are however somewhat concerned as to the legality of the ceremony.
The whole package was organised for us by a reputable company by the name of 'Fred Scuttle Wedding Services' they assure us that the officiating 'Alte Furzen' has all the required credentials and that the ceremony took place in a properly licenced premises however something about the documentation still worries me, please find copies sent under separate cover.
I understand that this is not a skiing question but with your vast knowledge of all things snow covered I thought you might be able to help.
Respectfully yours
Sir Ralph and Lady Hawkins
PS Hope the photos help
Dear Sir Ralph and your Ladyship
Whilst I do not offer advice on these matters I did have a cursory look through the paperwork including the invoice, 50 euro does seem a bit steep for that cake? All I can say is 'are you familiar with the phrase 'you've been done like a Kipper?'
Having said that the photos prove beyond doubt that the location was beautiful as was the Bride, it seems a pity your luggage failed to arrive and you had to borrow that old suit but these things happen. I can only apologise for not offering more help and advice and wish you and her Ladyship all the very best for the future.
Your Humble Servant
Dr Ski
